My run ship sunk, washed up like a ship wrecked and stranded becoming nothing more than a rotting hunk of useless water-logged wood.
Ok, too dramatic.
But my run was “off” this morning. I just couldn’t get in a rhythm. It was slow, lumbering, clumsy even. It felt awkward and I felt heavy.
I don’t know if the sucky run was the result of being over-tired or the early (4:50am) start or any other random cause, but I do know that I want to avoid that beached whale frantically thrashing about in the sand feeling in my run. SO, I’ll get out of bed again tomorrow and roll my mammalian mass out onto the pavement to see if my run can once again swim.
