1398. Almost 1400. That’s how many kilometres are on my Asics Gel Kayano 20s. That’s 868 miles.
Some say runners should get new shoes every 6 months or every 400 miles or when little nagging injuries pop up. I say that these kicks are still kicking and still fit like a sock and don’t cause me trouble and have carried me along some of my most memorable runs.
Part of me would like a new pair while the other part feels like we are a pair. My shoes and I have been through thick and thin and still have memories to create together.
