Catching the red eye

Yesterday was such a gorgeous evening. But it was also a super windy one.

With steady and consistent winds of 30 kilometres per hour and gusts to 50-60 kph, the run to Blue Rocks and out of Lunenburg was boosted by a quality lift of wind at my back. I flew there!

But the run back was a blast to the face and a battle every step where I was definitely grounded. My eyes bared the brunt of the whipped air. 24 hours later they still sting!
