In the still of a run

June 27, 2015

There are those runs where my mind is full and is doing more racing than my feet. Thoughts seem to pop in and out of focus as fast as the breath entering and exiting my working lungs.

Then there are runs where there is a stillness inside that cavernous skull of mine. Where I seem to think of nothing and time and distance just drift by.

It seems oxymoron-ish to have stillness in the midst of a run, but that is exactly what I love to achieve.

It is pure #runhappiness.
